CFGA-FB-icon_white_3The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta is proud to announce our 2016 competitive grant cycles, along with new and exciting impact areas and process changes designed to make applying for our programs easier and faster.

The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta fulfills the passions of donors by investing in our region through grantmaking, partnerships and advocacy. To create meaningful, lasting change, our efforts will now align via measurable objectives in focused “Impact Areas.” Click here to learn more.

The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta has developed a robust online Organizational Profile and Common Grant Application that will capture information about nonprofits and their needs in one place. Creating a profile and completing it along with the Common Grant Application will be the first step in a nonprofit’s journey with the Community Foundation. The information provided will fuel our competitive grant program applications, drive reports for our donors and initiate informational meetings.

We encourage all organizations – whether nonprofits or community-based groups – including those that have traditionally not been eligible for our grant programs, to complete their Organizational Profiles and the Common Grant Application.

Beginning in 2016, the Foundation is combining its various general operating support programs (Common Good Fund, Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund, AIDS Fund) into one grant cycle. This will maximize the time and capacity of nonprofit applicants, allowing organizations to submit information once to be considered for funding. No more completing multiple applications for general operating support programs! Click here to learn more.

Deadlines for many of our grant programs, including General Operating Support, Nonprofit Toolbox and Strategic Restructuring, have been announced. Click here for more information. Stay tuned for more deadline announcements in the coming months!

On Friday, April 22, we hosted an online Nonprofit Forum during which we talked about our new impact areas, and process changes designed to make applying for our programs easier and faster. Click here to access a recording of the webinar.
