Jeffrey Fashion Cares: the final tally is in!

The final numbers are in and we’re pleased to announce that this year’s Jeffrey Fashion Cares fundraiser brought in a total of $301,050 to benefit our Atlanta AIDS Fund! Now in its 24th year, the event benefits the AIDS Fund and Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta.

Another sell-out crowd gathered at Phipps Plaza which was transformed for the evening into an elegant party space and high-fashion runway. Guests enjoyed a spectacular silent auction and stepped up to raise their paddles during the live auction in support of the two worthy beneficiaries.

Funds raised during the event support a year’s worth of grantmaking for the AIDS Fund, a collaborative funding partnership between the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, United Way of Greater Atlanta, Jeffrey Fashion Cares and the Allen Thornell HIV Care and Service Fund. Created in 1991, the fund supports metro Atlanta’s HIV/AIDS advocacy, prevention education and service efforts through funding and leadership. In its history the fund has awarded more than $11 million.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the event’s co-chairs, Lila Hertz, Jeffrey McQuithy and Louise Sams, and to Jeffrey Kalinsky and the entire Jeffrey Atlanta team, for their dedication and hard work making this event successful year after year!
