“It’s like getting a bird’s-eye view into all these wonderful nonprofits. The site visits are just amazing! The experience gives me so much hope.” That’s how Angele Hawkins describes her participation in The Community Foundation’s Managing for Excellence committee, which evaluates applications for an award given annually to a nonprofit that successfully uses effective business practices to meet its mission.
