Strategic Restructuring Fund
Encouraging smart collaboration to meet changing times.
At the Community Foundation, we’re committed to building strong, collaborative nonprofits in the region.
The Strategic Restructuring Fund provides funds and/or management consulting services to support nonprofits as they assess, negotiate, design and/or implement restructuring efforts that promote more effective operations and high-performing programs.
Born and raised in this South Atlanta community, Joel Barber knows almost all of his customers at the Carver Neighborhood Market by name. Run by Focused Community Strategies, the market and its next door coffee shop, Community Grounds, are the local community hub. The market opened in 2015, providing access to fresh produce and pantry items in this former food desert where the nearest grocery store is nearly a one-hour bus ride away. Carver Neighborhood Market was made possible by a strategic restructuring grant from the Community Foundation.
