This morning’s massive tragedy in Newtown, CT horrifies us all. So many children and adults murdered; so many others traumatized by the violence and chaos. “Close your eyes and hold on to one another,” a teacher told her students as they began to flee the building.
Today, we hold on to one another, hug our children extra hard, and offer our deepest sympathy and prayers for those whose precious loved ones have been lost to senseless violence.
Tomorrow, we must address the issue of gun control in our nation. If not now, then for God’s sake when?
