The 24th Annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares event on August 29 raised roughly $800,000 to benefit the Community Foundation’s Atlanta AIDS Fund and Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta which provides grants to grassroots organizations fighting breast cancer. Attendees at the sold-out event arrived red-and-pink carpet ready to donate to these great causes and enjoy a designer-packed runway show of the latest styles. More than $100,000 of the total is raised during the event through silent and live auctions.
Along with our Atlanta AIDS Fund partner United Way of Greater Atlanta, the Community Foundation salutes event founder Jeffrey Kalinsky and event co-chairs Lila Hertz, Jeffrey McQuithy and Louise Sams for their leadership on another successful event that will go a long way toward supporting nonprofits dedicated to continued progress in the care and prevention of HIV/AIDS.
