A devastating 7.1 magnitude earthquake has hit central Mexico. There are heartbreaking reports of over 200 deaths and countless damaged and collapsed buildings, including schools filled with children. Rescue efforts are underway, which will only be the beginning of the recovery process for the region.
Contributions are needed now to aid those that are hurting and to begin rebuilding in the coming weeks and months. Below is a list of organizations working to help those affected that have created specific funds to address this disaster. We will continue to add to this list. Please note that since this is an international disaster, these organizations have been reviewed by the Community Foundation but not fully vetted.
