In 2019, funding from the Fulton County Arts Council supported Strategic Planning Nonprofit Toolbox awards for the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival and Terminus Modern Ballet. The Community Foundation’s Nonprofit Toolbox program provides management consulting services to nonprofits, helping organizations strengthen their operations for greater impact and audience reach.
Both organizations are in prime position to embark on their next strategic plan. The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2020. Last year alone, the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival featured 180 screenings of 76 narrative, documentary and short films from 24 countries to a total audience of 38,017. Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre has experienced significant early success, reaching 20,000 audience members and teaching 200 students since its founding in 2016 and is ready to take the organization to the next level in its development.
