Wednesday, March 16 marks the one-year anniversary of the murders of eight people, including six Asian women massage workers, at spas in the Atlanta region. We honor and remember the victims of this tragedy and the families and neighborhoods who mourn them. We place healing, care, and peace at the heart of our remembrance and stand in solidarity with our community.
In remembrance, the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta has co-signed a letter spearheaded by Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Atlanta. On Wednesday, March 16, all of our communications channels, including social media, will go dark in observation and mourning.
If you seek to make a gift to mark this anniversary, consider the following organizations working with Asian communities in our region.
