In September, the Mu Alpha Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity at Emory University received a Vote Your Voice grant to increase voter outreach and registration in Cobb, Dekalb and Fulton Counties.
Since receiving the grant, members of the Mu Alpha Chapter have encouraged their peers to use their voices and exercise their right to vote by holding events and activities on campus. Some of these activities include voter registration drives and a march to the polls with other organizations on Emory’s campus.
