GoATL FUNDS

Invest. Impact. Improve.

GoATL impact investing

GoATL is an impact fund strategy designed to achieve both a social (impact) and financial (investment) return. These innovative fund approaches provide mission-minded investors with an opportunity to accelerate and sustain positive community outcomes for metro Atlanta residents by providing cost-effective loans to nonprofits and for-profit partners who leverage these investments to achieve impacts in areas such as safe and healthy housing, new schools in underserved areas, as well as more equitable access to living-wage careers.

GoATL expanded its scope in 2022. In addition to its historic support of innovative intermediaries like Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), GoATL now also has funds that focus on direct investments into opportunities that advance affordable housing and economic inclusion. Read on to learn more about the strategy behind these funds, as well as the impact they are making across metro Atlanta communities.

What is impact investing?

Impact investing is strategically invested capital that makes a positive social impact in local neighborhoods while providing a small financial return. GoATL’s investments support social causes and enterprises that provide sustainable, long-term benefits to the community, achieving capital preservation and a measurable financial return. While traditional philanthropy provides grants, impact investing recycles dollars for the greater good.
