GoATL Fund
Invest. Impact. Repeat.
Connecting capital to community causes
GoATL is Georgia’s first diversified impact debt fund designed to achieve both a social and financial return. This innovative fund model accelerates and sustains positive community outcomes for the people who call Atlanta home by providing cost-effective loan capital to address our region’s most critical needs, from healthy, safe housing for every family to new schools and more equitable access to living-wage careers.
Expanded in 2022, GoATL Evolution now encompasses three funds focused on specific needs within metro Atlanta – affordable housing, economic inclusion and community capacity. Read more about the strategy and impact behind these funds below.
What is impact investing?
Through impact investing, strategically invested capital achieves both a positive social impact in a local neighborhood as well as a small financial return. GoATL’s investments support causes and enterprises that provide sustainable, long-term benefits to the community, while also achieving capital preservation and a measurable financial return. While traditional philanthropy provides grants, impact investing recycles dollars for greater social good.
